THE INFLUENCE OF CINEMAS.

When we utter the word CINEMA we think of fun and entertainment  We think of three hours enjoyment with friends and family in theater or at home. This is because cinema is today the most popular and the cheapest mean of mass entertainment and amusement. The hold of cinema over people is so great that this is difficult to find the city or town without cinema theater  The popularity of cinema is due to its appeal to the ear as well as the eye.

This being case, films can play a vital role in the improvement of society. Good films with good characters of great virtues can inspire people whereas bad films can turn people into criminals.
Films are an effective medium of education. What is seen or hears is not easily forgotten. History, Geography and Science can be the best taught through specially prepares educational films. TV and cinema are going to play a crucial role in the future scheme of education in our country.

But today the film industry is dominated by big financiers who produce films full of vulgarity, Crimes and Violence. Habitual cinema going tempts the youth o ape the style and fashion and vice shown in the film they see, Many Theft, Fights and even Murders have been inspired by the films showing crime, Violence and destruction.

To correct this sorry state of affairs, enlightened people should educate the masses so that they can boycott bad films that corrupt the youth and pervert their minds.
Cinemas have, thus its uses and abuses. It is up to you to make it powerful medium of social and moral change and progress.
